He is full of energy and would make an excellent running or adventure buddy, but he also appreciates a good nap when the fun is done. Bodi gets along great with other dogs and would be a wonderful dog park companion. He is a bit of an escape artist, so a secure yard and supervision are a must. With some leash work and basic training, Bodi will make an incredible, loyal companion for an active home.” He is good with teens and pre-teens, friendly with cats, and has been dog-tested with a large female Pitbull, showing playful and positive behavior. Bodi can be a little anxious and prefers not to be the center of attention, but he is not aggressive or fear-motivated. He is gentle with food and tends to eat slowly. He does not seem too interested in toys but enjoys calm companionship and routine. Intake Date: 09.17.2025 (Owner Surrender). Medical: Heartworm Negative. Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Louisa, Goochland, Chesterfield, Henrico, New Kent, King William, Caroline, Spotsylvania and Hanover Counties, VA.
