Notes: Elizabeth fostered Paulo for the weekend. Here is an abreviated version of what she said about him:

Paulo has stellar house manners and had no accidents. He was quiet and very comfortable in the condo. He alternated between napping on the bed and on the floor near my desk, while I was working. When I would go to sleep, Paulo would come up and snuggle for a bit and then sleep at the foot of the bed. He also loved to nap at the foot of the bed. Paulo is good with one or two flights of stairs but he prefers the elevator.

Paulo was shy with people but if they had a dog then he was much more comfortable. He interacted well with dogs, though if the dogs were giving off non-friendly vibes Paulo just stayed by my side or backed away, especially with the little dogs. While I chatted with dog owners, Paulo socialized with their dogs. On walks he had no objections to bikes, scoters, etc. whizzing past him. Paulo wanted to chase the deer but I had no difficultly in keeping him walking though he kept howling. When kids would run up to him on the beach, he was much more relaxed than when an adult would approach, though he was very polite with all. I think Paulo would love to have 2-legged siblings.
